Fed up with Prince? try: Un petit blog de France
by Half banana ini have just spent ten days working in france, i arrived late on friday night and the first thing saturday morning two visitors ominously strolled into my garden..
i was offered the flimsy awake which i opened and was immediately struck with a very false image.
the article gave the feel that the magazine was scientifically credible.

Isaiah had a word for sphere (Isaiah 22:18) but instead decided to describe the world as being flat. It's almost like the Bible was written by iron age men who had no understanding of their world. Weird. -

Trump or Contested Convention?
by Coded Logic infor those of us who are hillary and bernie fans, which is the better outcome - to have donald trump as the republican's nomination whose unpopular with most americans?
or are we better off watching the chaos of a contested convention and the party eventually putting up someone weak like john kasic or jeb bush?

What makes you say Trump is "unpopular with most Americans"?
Trump/s approval rating has consistently hovered around 30%. Whereas his unfavorable rating has been over 50%. Though, as the GirlNextDoor correctly pointed out, a far better descriptor would have been "majority" rather than "most".
The Huffington Post keeps an up to date Meta-analysis or every poll measuring the favorable/unfavorable rating of Clinton and Trump. Where as you can always find polls that are outliers and shows the two neck and neck - this sort of information isn't helpful. However, an aggregate of all the polls helps plot any trends that may be developing. And, as best we can tell, it doesn't seem like Trump is gaining any traction with American voters. Unsurprisingly, the majority of people seem not to like him.

I honestly don't see how the inspirations of Bach and Michelangelo make religion any less full of crap.
People used to build highly detailed and intricate models showing how the Earth was the center of our solar system. But such creativity doesn't make geocentrism any less bogus.
And who knows what far more beautiful work Bach or Michelangelo might have produced had their minds not been vandalized by the small mindedness of religion.

Any thought behind your " Avatar"
by The Rebel ini think that's the correct phrase?
anyway when i first came here, that little picture that "the rebel" hides behind, was a self portrait of a very sad man, who simply had too much knowledge.
now i feel after 7 months here, i should repaint that " avetor" give some happiness to the eyes, and a contented smile to the lips.. in short my " avetor" was a self portrait of a man with too much knowledge.

My Avatar is the symbol the Romulan Empire. Descendants of the Vulcans, they rejected Surak's teachings during the Time of the Awakening and marched under the banner of a bird of prey. Thus the raptor symbol.
Romulans are stubborn, emotional, and prone to profound arrogance.
Sound like anyone we know?

you cant have something come from nothing.
-SWNHow do you know this? Have you ever observed a lack of space time and energy? How would you know how it behaves?
I'd recommend you do a little reading on entropy. It doesn't just imply that we can get something from nothing. Rather, it means that "nothing" is inherently unstable and will always produce something.
Our intuitions are useless here. We have no prior experience in the formation of universes that we can draw upon. "That doesn't sound right to me" is not a valid objection.

We didn't leave religion because we lost our faith. Rather, we found our curiosity. And what a beautiful world it is that we've since discovered. -
